Debra Mitchell leads DMECA with a strong commitment to advancing educational equity for Pre-K through 12th grade students across Florida. With over two decades of experience in special education leadership and advocacy, she guides the organization’s mission through structured advocacy access, scholarship initiatives, and parent education—ensuring every child has access to the support and services needed to succeed.
